Jens Unosson
'Be as good to others as they are not to you'
Tripped-out Swedish band The Spacious Mind are one of my all-time favourites. I'm therefore thrilled to announce a new vinyl-only solo album (limited pressing of 300) by their keyboard player Jens Unosson
It's a deep, sensitive and mysterious album, at times serene and 'spacious' and, at others, blisteringly psychedelic. The album exudes the 'spirit' of metaphysical SSWs like Tom Rapp of Pearls Before Swine who The Spacious Mind famously backed at Terrastock in London '99, while the wonderful lysergically-soaked guitar-work of Arne Jonasson (a regular co-conspirator of Jens in The Holy River Family Band, Cauldron, etc) has traces of Barry Melton and the late great Richard Treece. There's cool cover art by John Hurford too, and a fold-out lyric insert with a stash of photos of Jens' bucolic retreat.

'The Lee Riders' was the first Pyg Track release (PYG01), available only on CD.
They were a country-rock band from Woodstock, USA, headed by guitarist / singer / songwriter Robert Lee, who ended up in England in 1971 and cut this delightful album for United Artists. Reissued (run of just 300 copies) for the first time ever in an attractive CD wallet with original artwork and an 8-page booklet designed by Tony Poole with notes by Nigel Cross

The Martin Stone release was a 4-CD Box set with 48 page hard-back book issued by Pyg Track in conjunction with Shagrat Records and Projectile (MAD DOG BOX 01). It commemorates the late legendary guitarist and collects rare and unissued tracks from 1992 to 2014 featuring his work with Almost Presley, Totally Hank, The Tallahassee Rent Boys, The OTs, Les Soucoupes Violentes, Wolf People and the reformed Mighty Baby.
